I loved last weeks story about the bus fuelled by human waste. It struck a chord on so many levels from brilliant innovation, to the poor testers, to what could be poo powered next. It hung around in my mind for a while (yes, like the proverbial bad smell) and I could see the irony of how innovation itself is often powered by the very same thing.
If like me you tire of hearing about unscrupulous activities within the world of banking, then you’ve probably taken a moment to wonder what the alternatives are. To be fair, there’s not many. So the moment for thinking of alternatives soon passes, that is unless you’re into cryptocurrencies. As I type the word even I start to glaze over, it just sounds too complex, too new and too risky. But there’s an attractiveness to it, the whole ‘power to the people’ is very much in line with our desire to collaborate, join forces and disrupt.
